Downton Abbey Inspired Tea Party 2024

Eager to spend another evening celebrating all things Edwardian and can’t wait a whole year for the new Downton Abbey movie? No need for woofits. You are cordially invited to a Downton Abbey inspired tea party. Experience afternoon tea service and wonderfully engaging activities celebrating the show, movies, and era. Our menu will feature historical recipes commonly served at an Edwardian afternoon tea. The savory course will be egg mayonnaise and ham & chive cream cheese finger sandwiches, spinach & cheese tartlets, and cucumber soup. The second course is scones embellished with cream, orange marmalade, and currant jelly. The dessert course will pay tribute to some wonderful autumn flavors with Bakewell tarts, madeleines, “Dainty Ladies”, and spiced applesauce cake. The tea selection will highlight some of the Edwardians favorites. We hope you will join us dressed in your best 20th century English clobber and fallal for this fun-filled Edwardian evening.
