An elegant, wine‑toned black tea crafted with precision and centuries of artistry.Developed in the late 19th century, Keemun quickly became one of China’s most celebrated black teas, prized for its balance, depth, and elegant aromatics. Its craftsmanship and distinctive winey character made it a favorite in fine tea houses and among connoisseurs worldwide.
Organic Keemun Congou is a beautifully balanced black tea from Qimen County in Anhui, China, made through the meticulous leaf‑rolling technique that gives congou (“skillfully made”) its name. Smooth, aromatic, and quietly luxurious, this tea is celebrated for its refined character and its ability to shine in both Western steeping and traditional gongfu brewing.
Keemun is beloved for its quiet sophistication—never harsh, never bitter, always graceful in the cup.
Tasting Notes: Silky and wine‑toned, with soft cocoa, warm cedar, gentle smoke, and a naturally sweet dried‑fruit finish.
