Lapsang Souchong originates from the Wuyi Mountains in the Fujian Province of China, where pinewood smoke infuses the leaves with a distinctive, smoky aroma. Rich, rugged, and unapologetically bold, this black tea offers a campfire-like warmth, layered with hints of spice and resinous depth.
This distinctive black tea has a famous past--it was among those hurled into Boston Harbor during the 1773 Tea Act protests that lead up to the American Revolution.
