We are currently looking for tea-loving people who want to join our TEAm. If you enjoy the art and culture of tea, the smells and creations of coffee, the fun in food, and the interaction with incredible people, then this may be the place for you.

To fulfill what we are looking for in this role, you must be able to:

• Welcome guests to the tea room and help them find seating

• Take food and drink orders from guests accurately and with a positive attitude

• Write guests' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff

• Engage with guests in a friendly manner

• Build knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions

• Prepare food by cutting, chopping, and portioning

• Prepare tea, coffee, & food for serving

• Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems

• Collect payments from tables

• Assist with cleaning duties

 

Requirements for the position:

• Reliability and integrity

• A positive attitude and ability to work well with all other staff

• Experience providing excellent customer service

• Ability to perform high-quality work while unsupervised

• Ability handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system

• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner

• Ability to lift, carry, and stand for long periods
